Yet Another Genius Design Idea

Wow!
When I first saw these I thought they were vases disguised as books... than I realized... they were Bookmarks disguised as plants. This suits me perfectly because no matter how hard I try, I cant keep my plants alive { sorry mother nature } But how perfect, now I can just plant my green book marks and appear to have the green thumb that I unfortunately lack! Pantone Lovin'

I am hoping that Emilie checks this post out... I am thinking if no one else loves this stuff she will... Who knew Pantone would get such a following... I think my favorite idea is the Nail Polish, why didnt I think of that?! { via twig and thistle }

Paint Drip Portraits { xox }

Chris Dorosz works with no brush and no canvas... just the air and the paint. His piece below is made with paint drips { cool }

"Out of material discovery I began to regard the primacy of the paint drop, a form that takes shape not from a brush or any human-made implement or gesture, but purely from its own viscosity and the air it falls through, as analogous to the building blocks that make up the human body (DNA) or even its mimetic representation (the pixel).
With this in mind I’ve been working towards creating a narrative of materials as the groundwork to explore changing ideas of human physicality in an age pushing towards virtual reality. "~ C. Dorosz

Elephants?

I love the Elephants hanging out the window here...! What a creative artist. I like the use of watercolor here, it makes me want to get out my paint brush and start painting...

Monday

Love this wall decor!

Designed by Oscar Nunez
If there were two things I am certain of it is this: I want these. and I want them now.

Right now I am wishing there was a birthday or holiday coming up and I could put them on that every so large wish list of mine. Wouldn't these look so fun and quirky in a home studio? Specifically mine?! All elegant style a side, these are great!
